August 11 – September 12, 2010
A World Premiere Stage Adaptation by Tom Key based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning Novel by John Kennedy Toole
Directed by Richard Garner
From the get-go, Ignatius J. Reilly (Aaron Muñoz) is embroiled in a madcap misadventure that involves a lute string, a near-riot, and a rickety but lucky escape from the cops. Soon the seductive, seedy side of New Orleans itself joins a carnival cast of characters ranging from hapless, Keystonian Officer Mancuso and cool-jive, street-smart Jones to revolutionary minx Myrna Minkoff and muscatel-swilling, bowling addict Santa Battaglia. Directed by Georgia Shakespeare’s Richard Garner, 16 cast members play over 25 different characters!
Wednesday – Saturday at 7:30 pm
Sundays at 2:30 pm
Saturday Matinee on August 21 at 2:30 pm
*Recommended for ages 12 and up, for adult themes and language.
